Privacy & data
This page is a plain-language summary. The full privacy policy is in flight as we move from Ring 1 (private invite-only test) to Ring 2 (limited beta).
What we store
- Your intake responses (history, medications, allergies, family history, etc.).
- Any records you upload (PDFs, photos of paper documents, bottle photos).
- A complete recording of the visit (audio and video segments). The encounter transcript is also kept.
- Readings from any device you connect (e.g. Withings BP, scale).
- The clinical assessment, plain-language summary, and follow-up plan generated for you.
- A timestamped audit log of every time someone accessed your record (HIPAA §164.312 audit-control alignment).
Who can see it
Only you, by default. CClinic stores records in a HIPAA-aligned posture with tenant-isolated row-level security per patient. CClinic staff cannot read individual records without one of:
- Your explicit, in-product consent (e.g. for an issue you reported).
- A valid legal subpoena.
- A documented safety incident (suicidal crisis, etc.).
How long we keep it
Active records are retained for 7 years (matching standard medical record retention). Audit-log entries follow the same 7-year cap. You can request deletion at any time — see “Delete my data” below.
Subprocessors
These vendors process your data on our behalf:
- Anthropic — AI model inference (BAA in flight pre-Ring 3).
- ElevenLabs — text-to-speech for the doctor voice.
- Supabase — database + storage. BAA on the Team tier.
- Vercel — hosting + edge. No PHI is logged; logs are scrubbed at the framework level.
- Withings — only the readings you explicitly authorize.
Delete my data
Email support@celesium.ai with the subject line “Delete my CClinic data”. Include your encounter ID and date of birth. We’ll confirm deletion within 7 business days.
Consent flow
Before each visit you’re asked to acknowledge consent for video recording, AI assessment, and data storage. You can withdraw consent at any time after the visit; withdrawal triggers the deletion process above.
